Leap Of Faith

EDIT: Better picture.

I really like how this one turned out. The idea came from the saying "leap of faith" and from my theory of knowledge class on truth. After having the TOK class earlier in the day before art, I started thinking about religious faith and what not because I'm personally pretty religious, but I can tell who in my TOK aren't and sometimes it hurts when they say certain things even if they're not directed at me.

So the piece is to show how some people view faith and truth as polar opposites and how they can't exist together, even though to me they do. The figure and the fact that faith is mostly is mostly white are supposed to show that if I had to choose I would choose faith over truth because faith to me implies hope while truth can destroy hope. So yeah, deep meanings, woot~
